Drawing [[OPEN]]

[Taiyo Mikoto]

Taiyo looked at a picture she was drawing, she had always been an extremely gifted artist, but she was so shy.

[Melody Evans]

Melody decided to take her very own tour of the camp, when she spotted another new camper. "Hi," she said softly, so she wouldn't cause her to jump or startle her. "What are you drawing?" she asked, pointing at the picture.

[Taiyo Mikoto]

Taiyo turned around, her face blank, she then looked back at the picture, "My mom."

[Katie Butler]

<sup>On her seemingly never-ending journey to tour camp, considering this was her first day after getting claimed. She watched two other campers converse and she hung a distance away, not wanting to get close because of her shyness. Fotia nipped her ear, the eagle's expression saying, 'go ahead! Are you going to make friends or not?' Katie glared at Fotia, who stared blankly back with her infamous, 'I'm an eagle. What are you going to do?' look.

"Fine," she muttered under her breath, and approached the two girls. "Hello?" she asked shyly, entwining her hands behind her back, slightly embarrassed. "I'm new here. That's a nice picture," she added as an afterthought, trying to smile friendly. She was never good at talking and the scars crisscrossing her cheek didn't make people feel very 'at ease' with the daughter of Zeus.</sup>

[Taiyo Mikoto]

Taiyo suddenly felt overwhelmed by they two girls. One was enough, but two was.. well, it was too much, "Thanks.." She said, looking down, hiding her embarrassed face.

[Melody Evans]

Melody felt uneasy at the girl's dull expression. Perhaps she had wanted to be left alone and Melody should have stuck with her instinct, stayed away and continued to wander around the camp. "Oh, um..." she said, clearing her throat nervously. "That's nice." She looked around at the sound of another voice, recognizing the girl, seeing as she had seen her around before. "Hey," Melody said, smiling at her.

[Taiyo Mikoto]

Taiyo felt bad, she didn't mean to make Melody feel uneasy, "S-sorry.." She apologized softly.

[Katie Butler]

<sup>Katie smiled, slightly brighter then before, at Melody. "Hello," she said softly. Then she looked at the other girl, the one she couldn't recognize. "Hello," she said again. "I'm Katie. What is your name?" she asked, trying [and hopefully not failing] to be more friendly.

Fotia squacked friendly, somehow sounding more so than Katie herself. And Fotia was an eagle. "This is Fotia," Katie added for the other girl.</sup>

[Melody Evans]

Melody smiled again, as if to make the girl feel better. "Please, don't be sorry." she said. The girl seemed so fragile and scared, it made Melody feel sympathy towards her. She looked over at Katie when her eagle let out a noise, something she felt the eagle did a lot.

[Taiyo Mikoto]

Taiyo still looked at her picture, adding some more features to what would later be her mother. She then answered, "Ta-Taiyo mikoto."

^{Katie didn't lose her smile as she said, "That's a pretty name." Fotia nodded her black-feathered head in agreement. Katie thought it was agreement. She wasn't even sure if Fotia could understand any human, or if she was just guessing what they were saying, like Katie was guessing what Fotia would say.}

Tiayo then looked up, her drawing finished, "Would you like to see...?" She asked quietly.

[Melody Evans]

Melody nodded eagerly. "Yeah!" she said, still nodding. "I'm sure it looks really good."

Taiyo finally smiled, "Tha-thank you.."

[Katie Butler]

^{Katie was having a hard time forcing the smile on her lips now. She really didn't like talking, or being friendly, as she was terrible at it. Terrible at it. That thought had recurred so often, anyone who could read her mind would've been sick of it. Not having been there earlier when Taiyo told Melody who she was drawing, Katie asked, "Who's it a picture of?"}
